Care Inspectorate
Care providers are regulated to ensure that customers are properly looked after, allowing a standard of care across the UK. Across the UK there is a variety of regulators all aiming for one goal, in Scotland, we have the Care Inspectorate.
The Care Inspectorate monitors, inspects and regulates Scottish health and social care services ensuring each service meets fundamental standards of quality and safety. They are a safe space to turn to if a customer has any worries or concerns and isn't receiving support from their provider.
We encourage everybody to research health and social care services through the Care Inspectorate analyse business goals and competitor insight to develop a marketing strategy to drive conversions before signing up for their service. This will allow greater insight into what happens behind closed doors, and what their customers and team members say about them.
The key thing to look at is what their rating is, what recommendations and requirements they’ve been given and importantly how long it has been since their last inspection.
We’re pleased to say we’ve been awarded grades 4 ‘Good’ in quality of care and support and quality of staffing since 2018. Whilst this seems pretty average for a rating, this is an amazing rating for a fairly young business and we know that based on that great start we're going to hit 'Very Good' on our next inspection.
