Our mission is to be "the Provider of choice" in Bromley for those in need of a little support to stay living independently at home.
We are a premium provider of Homecare and Live-in Care at home, and are passionate about preserving the independence and improving the quality of life of vulnerable adults by offering sustainable solutions to some of the problems often associated with frailty, living alone and isolation.
Bluebird Care was established way back in 2004 and now has a network of over 200 registered providers, trusted to provide Care at home to 1000's of people across the length and breadth of the UK & Ireland.
Bluebird Care Bromley is one of three Bluebird Care franchises owned and operated by Steve Davie and his eldest son Ben <Meet the team link> who have lived in Bromley for over 30 years. Opened in 2009, Bluebird Care Bromley has grown to become one of the most sought after Homecare providers in the borough, and was awarded the organisation's “Franchise of the Year” in 2014.
They opened their second office Sevenoaks in 2011 (nominated for finalist for “Franchise of the Year” in 2015) a third in 2015, which serves customers across the neighbouring London boroughs of Lewisham and Southwark. All offices are rated "Good" by the CQC, the industry regulator.
Our premium service offers a realistic alternative to life in a upmarket Residential Care Home, allowing people to continuing living independently at home, surrounded by the things they love and the memories they cherish, and where important social networks can be preserved.
This means doing more than simply delivering practical support that meets people’s basic physical needs: our team aims to go the extra mile to help our customers live life to the full, whatever their situation.
You tend to only hear about the horror stories, so at first I was expecting an average level of service coupled with a degree of unreliability, staff not turning up etc. Bluebird have been proactive and have more than fulfilled our expectations. Communication is excellent, particularly with the use of the openPASS app, we can see daily who is due and when, together with post-visit notes. Our highly-trained staff have a wealth of experience in caring for people with a range of physical and mental health conditions and we do our best to match each customer with the right Care Expert, so that they can forge the strong relationships we believe are vital for delivering high quality Care.
Catering to the unique requirements of every customer is at the heart of what we do, and while we encourage independence where possible (and desirable), we can be as “hands on” or as “hands off” as you like. We’re here to assist; we're never here to take over.
We place an emphasis improving the quality of life experienced by our customers, whatever form that takes, and above all, providing the level of Care we would want our own family.
The Bluebird carers were, without exception, amazing. They looked after my Aunt as though she was one of their own family. It was a great comfort to me as I live so far away to know she was in such safe and caring hands.
