We have an amazing team, but we couldn't possibly list them all. That's why we're letting you get to know our office team. The ones who help to hire, train, support and supervise our team of Care Experts.
Meet Tricia Hughes, Director
Tricia has over 30 years of experience working with some of the most marginalised and vulnerable citizens. She worked hard to help improve their quality of life and offer them more life opportunities. She uses her training as a Social Worker to help have a positive impact on people's lives in our community. Always striving to deliver high-quality home care.
Meet Denise Law, Supervisor
Denise is a single mum to two daughters. Her youngest daughter was born with a complex condition which required Denise to provide round the clock care. After 18 years of looking after her daughter and delivering some part-time care to an elderly couple, she decided to take the plunge and go full time. Denise joined our team in 2018 as a full time Care Assistant, being promoted to Lead Care Assistant shortly after. Denise is now our supervisor ensuring that our team get the support they need to deliver the very best care.
Meet Alison McCormack, Supervisor
When Alison’s mum passed away, she decided to apply for a role in care. In 2019 she joined the Bluebird Care team. She strived on the new challenge. In 2021 she completed her SVQ 3 and was offered a supervisor role. She is currently undergoing her next SVQ and is always striving for further development. In her spare time, you’ll find spending time with her husband Charlie, cat and 2 dogs. She loves ,long walks, reading and watching sort on the telly.
Meet Shirley Neil, Coordinator
Shirley’s has an extensive background of 30 years in retail until a close family member passed away and she decided to change things up. She joined Bluebird Care in 2016 as a Care Assistant and was promoted to Lead Care Assistant. In 2019, she decided to put her wealth of knowledge about the team and the community to good use and pushed herself to become the team’s coordinator. In her spare time, you’ll find her with her husband, daughter and grandson. She loves to travel and of course watch football.
Meet Carlymarie Taylor, Business Support
Carlymarie started her journey back in 2014 as a Care Assistant, and within her first year moved into the office to help coordinating our rotas to ensure our customers got the team they needed when they needed it. After a few years, she expanded her experience into business support. She says every day is different, which gives her a challenge and that’s why she loves her job. In her spare time, you’ll find her with her family and friends or travelling.
