At Bluebird Care our aim is to provide the very best care at home for you. Everything we do centres on supporting our customers to remain independent in their own home. Our care at home in Northallerton, Thirsk and Catterick is tailored to our customers needs. Our services range from personal care, companionship, shopping and all daily housekeeping tasks. We can help you to live well in your home environment so that it remains clean, safe and a happy place for you or a loved one to live.
Our story
The Price family followed their dream of owning their own care company when they opened their branch in Felixkirk, Thirsk in January 2014. Word soon spread about a new Bluebird Care branch in North Yorkshire and the business grew quickly across the districts of Hambleton and Richmondshire, resulting in our branch winning Newcomer of the Year in 2014. It was clear that the business quickly needed a new home, so we relocated to a larger and more central location at Ainderby Hall, just outside Northallerton.
We love running our Bluebird Care branch and providing excellent home care and live in care to our customers, whilst looking after our brilliant care team, several of whom have been with us for over ten years. We are very proud to have been rated Good in every area in all of our CQC inspections since we started the business.
Bluebird Care Northallerton, Catterick and Thirsk provide high quality person centred care with visits ranging from 30 minutes to full 24 hour live in care, in which we specialise along with dementia care. Whilst most of our customers are private, we are approved providers to North Yorkshire Council and the NHS. We were the first company to work in partnership with our Local Authority to provide live-in care commissioned for non-private customers, an accomplishment of which we are very proud.
Most of our new customers contact us as we have been recommended to them, either by existing customers, or other health and social care professionals, which is a great achievement for our team.
