About Bluebird Care Sevenoaks

We are a premium  provider of Homecare and Live-in Care at home, and are passionate about preserving the independence and improving the quality of life of vulnerable adults by offering sustainable solutions to some of the problems often associated with frailty, living alone and isolation. 

Bluebird Care was established way back in 2004 and now has a network of over 200 registered providers, trusted to provide Care at home to 1000's of people across the length and breadth of the UK & Ireland. 

Bluebird Care Sevenoaks is one of three Bluebird Care franchises owned and operated by Steve Davie and his eldest son Ben <Meet the team link> who have lived in Bromley, Kent for over 30 years. Opened in 2011, Bluebird Care Sevenoaks has grown to become one of the most sought after Homecare providers in the district, and was nominated for the organisation's “Franchise of the Year” in 2015.

They opened their first office in Bromley 2009 (winner of the “Franchise of the Year” in 2014) and a third in 2015, which serves customers across the neighbouring London boroughs of Lewisham and Southwark. All offices are rated "Good" by the CQC, the industry regulator. 

Our premium service offers a realistic alternative to life in a upmarket Residential Care Home, allowing people to continuing living independently at home, surrounded by the things they love and the memories they cherish, and where important social networks can be preserved. 

This means doing more than simply delivering practical support that meets people’s basic physical needs: our team aims to go the extra mile to help our customers live life to the full, whatever their situation.

I had no experience of employing Carers and no one to help me. Having seen all the reports in newspapers of bad care I took the decision to employ them with great reluctance. Bluebird have been amazing and restored my faith in the care industry. From the management to the Carers, they are all friendly helpful and genuinely seem to care about my Mother. In particular, Mums main Carer Sarah has taken time to develop a good relationship with her so from initially being hostile towards her Mum now views her as a friend to help her rather than an unwanted intrusion into her life. When things go wrong Bluebird do everything to help and support us and provide extra care even though they have limited numbers of Carers. When I have needed to talk to management out of hours they are always friendly and helpful. Without Bluebird Mum would probably be in a care home by now. Catering to the unique requirements of every customer is at the heart of what we do, and while we encourage independence where possible (and desirable), we can be as “hands on” or as “hands off” as you like. We’re here to assist; we're never here to take over.

Thank you to all the carers who were responsible for looking after my Mum. When we first suggested she needed carers, she was very reluctant. However, it wasn't long before she really looked forward to seeing and chatting with her carers. My sister and I felt we knew them all, as she would tell us all that was going on in their lives.
