Wiltshire North Dementia Bus

Dementia Bus

Experiencing Dementia First-Hand - we hosted the innovative ‘Dementia Bus’ in Trowbridge, giving our staff, local healthcare professionals, and community members a unique insight into life with dementia. This interactive simulator, provided by Training2Care, recreated the challenges faced by those living with the condition, helping participants better understand and empathise with their experiences. This impactful training highlights practical ways to improve care and communication, reinforcing our commitment to supporting those living with dementia in our community.

Our commitment isn't just words - we walk the talk and two of our directors, Nigel and Lesley joined the office team in a Memory Walk and also took up the pledge challenge cycle ride from Bradford on Avon to Bath to raise funds for this valuable cause.
