Nigel Gough

Nigel Gough - Franchise Owner

With over 30 years of experience as a General Practitioner, Nigel Gough is committed to improving care for older people in the community. His practice in Wiltshire pioneered award-winning social care models, such as the innovative Leg Club and Dementia Cafés, reflecting his focus on holistic, compassionate care. Recognising a gap in quality homecare, Nigel founded Bluebird Care’s West and North Wiltshire branch in 2013 to offer personalised care services. Now focusing on developing the business further, Nigel’s mission is to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to live with dignity and independence in their own home. Outside of work, Nigel enjoys music, sport, and exploring the world with his family.

Nell Wyatt

Nell Wyatt - Franchise Owner

As both a qualified nurse and doctor, Nell Wyatt brings a unique perspective to her role at Bluebird Care Wiltshire North. With more than 27 years of experience as a GP, Nell is dedicated to holistic care that considers physical, psychological, and social factors. She believes that everyone, regardless of age or health challenges, deserves the highest standard of care at home. Nell’s goal is to deliver care that is personalised, compassionate, and professional, just as she would want for her own family. When not at work, Nell is an adventurer at heart, recently completing the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race and travelling widely to explore new cultures and cuisines.

Lesley Gough

Lesley Gough - Franchise Owner

With a nursing background that includes roles as a Health Visitor, District Sister, and Macmillan Nurse, Lesley Gough brings a wealth of experience and compassion to Bluebird Care. Her personal experience caring for elderly family members with Alzheimer’s drives her passion for delivering the highest quality home care. Lesley believes in supporting customers and their families so they can stay in the comfort of their own homes, surrounded by the people they love. Having lived in Wiltshire for over 30 years, Lesley is deeply connected to the local community and committed to making a difference. In her spare time, she serves as a Justice of the Peace and enjoys time with her grandchildren.

Donna James – Registered Care Manager

With over 35 years of experience in health, housing, and Telecare, Donna James is passionate about enabling people to stay in their own homes for as long as possible. She joined Bluebird Care because she shares their commitment to providing dignified, high-quality home care that allows customers to remain surrounded by their family, friends, and pets. Donna’s extensive knowledge spans residential care and sheltered housing, making her a vital part of the Bluebird Care team. Alongside her professional team leadership role, Donna enjoys relaxing and spending time outdoors walking her dog.
