Lauren Betsworth
Lauren joined Bluebird Care in November 2023, bringing with her a decade of experience in the care industry. Her journey in care began in 2013, inspired by her late nan, who played an active role in her local community. Lauren’s nan would transport housebound individuals to the local shops, organize community dinners at the local church, and even host bingo or raffles between courses. Lauren fondly recalls helping with these events, creating lasting memories with her nan while developing a passion for helping others.
Starting as a carer, Lauren quickly progressed to a supervisor role within a year, where she built strong relationships with her team and customers. She later moved into the role of Care Coordinator, which she enjoyed for its challenges, likening it to solving a complex puzzle—balancing customer preferences, scheduling, and route planning for carers.
After gaining further experience with another company, Lauren began working toward her Level 5 qualification, which fueled her ambition to become a Care Manager. Having worked through various roles, including the challenges of COVID, Lauren felt her experiences and qualifications had equipped her to guide and support staff in providing the best possible care. She is passionate about developing her team members to their full potential, believing that strong staff support leads to excellent customer care.
Lauren continues to seek opportunities to grow, always looking for new courses, seminars, and networking opportunities to expand her skills and knowledge.
