At the time of writing our Company has no known cases of COVID-19 amongst any care staff or customers.

At the time of writing the Company has no known cases of COVID-19 amongst any care staff or customers. Indeed, as of yesterday the Government has verified that there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in East Sussex and 8 cases in Brighton & Hove (as previously stated and contained). https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-number-of-cases-in-england/coronavirus-covid-19-number-of-cases-in-england

However, as the Government alludes to the introduction it’s Delay Phase we have today taken the decision to implement the Company’s Delay Phase Plan. I need to stress this measure is only precautionary. From today the following measures will apply:

  1. Staff remain briefed on the symptoms of the Coronavirus and what to do if Coronavirus is suspected
  2. Antibacterial hand wash, hand washing instructions and training is given to all carers annually and is on-going
  3. Staff and Visitors to the office will be greeted at the door
  4. Deep clean of all office equipment and facilities will be on-going
  5. All delivery personal are not allowed into our offices, but will be greeted in Reception or at the door
  6. Limited recruitment and essential training will continue but be delivered through skype/ telephone or e-learning and as directed by our Training Officer
  7. Hospital and Care home assessments will be suspended
  8. All collaborative agency meetings will be conducted virtually
  9. All non-essential meetings have been suspended and replaced with virtual meetings
  10. Care Workers continue to be briefed and have all the PPE as instructed by the Government for care worker staff.
