Our Care Assistants become Dementia Friends

Aoife McMaster, Dementia Support Worker from the Alzheimer’s Society, facilitated Dementia Friend’s Training sessions for some of our care assistants who had not yet completed their dementia training.

During the sessions, our care assistants gained a greater understanding of dementia and developed more knowledge on how to work with our customer’s who live with dementia. Our care assistants took this opportunity to share their own experiences and seek advice on how to manage particular situations.
