A Trip Out With Marion

As we continue striving to go the extra mile for our customers, we recently arranged for Care Assistant Jackie to take her regular customer Marion out for some lunch. The pair headed down to The Horseshoes Pub & Restaurant in East Farleigh where they enjoyed a scrumptious pie & mash lunch.
As we continue striving to go the extra mile for our customers, we recently arranged for Care Assistant Jackie to take her regular customer Marion out for some lunch.This is part of our customer outings programme, which is where our Care Assistants recommend customers who they feel would benefit from some time away from the home or something a bit different.
The pair headed down to The Horseshoes Pub & Restaurant in East Farleigh where they enjoyed a scrumptious pie & mash lunch.
Care Manager Mel explained:
Our customer outings are extremely important to us here at Bluebird Care in Maidstone. They are suggested by our team of Care Assistants and we arrange them at no charge to the customer.
Our Care Assistant gets paid for their time and they are always enjoyed. This outing was particularly enjoyable because the food was pretty much perfect!
As well as being of benefit to the customer, outings are very beneficial and enjoyable for their Care Assistant.
