Dementia Friends is an Alzheimer's Society initiative aimed at changing people's perception of Dementia by transforming the way we think, act and talk about the condition.
  

What is a Dementia Friend?

A Dementia Friend is somebody that learns about dementia so that they can help and support their community.

Dementia Friends help raise awareness and understanding and can help people living with dementia by pledging to take actions that can be big or small.

Our Director Ray Morrison is a Dementia Friends Ambassador and has made more than 3,000 Dementia Friends working with schools, colleges and other organisations in our local community. of our staff and carers are trained to support those living with dementia and their families.
