Lisa Bidwell

Care Manager

Lisa has a wealth of experience in the Care industry working on and off for 26 years. She started working for Bluebird Care in July 2019 before being promoted to Care Supervisor in November 2019 and in October 2021 took on a role as Assistant manager before becoming a Registered Care Manager in March 2022 for Lincoln & South Lincolnshire.In begining of 2024 Lisa took on additional role of also becoming Registered Care Manager for North East Lincolnshire. She is a valued member of our team and always goes above and beyond for our customers.

Shannon Dandy

Assistant Care Manager

Shannon has a wide range of experience in the care sector. Her career in the Care industry began since she was 18 years old. Shannon is very passionate about helping people. After her first day at Bluebird Care Lincoln, she said, "it felt like I have been here for months. Everyone is so welcoming and helpful. It feels more like a family."

Rachel Kemp

Lead Care Supervisor

Rachel joined the company in 2020; coming from a retail background, Rachel was new to the care sector. With her knowledge and confidence growing, she has soon become an excellent Care Assistant who was promoted to a Care Mentor in November. Rachel's dedication and hard work were continuously noticed, and in March 2022, she was promoted to be a Care Supervisor and in 2023 took on the role of Lead Care Supervisor.

Michelle Carter

Care Supervisor

Michelle has been a dedicated member of the Bluebird Care team since August 2021, initially starting as a carer. Her exceptional skills and commitment quickly led to her promotion to supervisor for the Lincoln area in March 2022. In February 2024, she embraced a new challenge by moving to the North East to continue her supervisory role.

Michelle has diverse experience including complex care, mental health support, and general home-to-home care roles. Michelle's extensive background in various aspects of care makes her a versatile and knowledgeable professional in the field.

Her passion for the care industry stems from her genuine desire to help and support individuals of all ages in the community. She finds great satisfaction in assisting those with mental health challenges, helping them regain stability and routine in their lives. Her compassionate approach and dedication to improving the well-being of others are at the core of her professional ethos.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys staying active by going to the gym and taking long walks in the countryside. She is an avid traveler, always eager to explore new places around the world. Additionally, Michelle has a love for musicals, finding joy and inspiration in their vibrant performances.

Sam Sewell

Care Supervisor

Sam joined Bluebird Care in July 2023, bringing a wealth of experience from various roles within the care industry. Sam's journey in care began as a care assistant in November 2017. She has also worked as a Trainee Nursing Associate in the Urology Outpatients Department at Oxford University Hospital.

In November 2020, Sam moved to Grimsby and worked as a support worker, focusing on assisting individuals with learning difficulties. This role allowed Sam to develop specialised skills in supporting people with diverse needs.

Sam loves the care industry for the meaningful impact it allows her to have on individuals' lives, particularly in helping them remain in their homes for as long as possible. The variety of the role and the opportunity to build relationships with customers are aspects Sam finds particularly rewarding.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys a variety of hobbies, including reading, gardening, crochet, and cross stitch. Socialising with family and friends and exploring new places are also important parts of Sam's life, providing a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.
