David Haswell

Owner

Bluebird Care South Tyneside is led by David & Kelly Haswell. David & Kelly started delivering homecare in South Tyneside to help support customers in the area to receive homecare and support while remaining in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. Delivering the highest quality of homecare and support is David & Kelly’s absolute goal and the team would be delighted to hear from anyone who is seeking homecare for themselves or for a loved one, or would simply like to talk to someone about the services we provide.

David has gained a BA in Economics and Accounting and a Masters in International Business Management from University of Newcastle upon Tyne. Previous to setting up the company, David's work roles included Business Development, as well as Product and Marketing Management.

The inception of Bluebird Care South Tyneside was born out of my own family’s experience with home care. During this time when my grandparents needed care, we felt there was a lack of information about what was available, inconsistency of care, poor time keeping, lack of choice, and poor customer service. I am proud to say that we have achieved what we set out to achieve, which was to build a care company that had an excellent reputation for providing quality, flexible and tailor-made care. I will ensure that ethos and philosophy of Bluebird Care South Tyneside stands firm and we will treat each customer as if they were a member of our own family, through a ‘can-do-attitude’ and ‘good old-fashioned service’. These standards will be maintained be hiring people who share the vision that the people of South Tyneside deserve the best.
