Bluebird Care (Hillingdon) joined Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on September 30th to raise funds for cancer support.
Bluebird Care (Hillingdon) joined Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on September 30th to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.The office team baked a variety of homemade cakes and served them along with tea and coffee to staff and passers-by from the office complex as part of the national fundraising initiative.
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer. Across the UK alone, there are an estimated 2.5 million people living with cancer, increasing by 3.2% every year. Monies raised from the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning campaign helps to provide medical, emotional, practical and financial support for those battling cancer.

I am delighted that my team took the initiative to support this wonderful cause. Most of us have been personally affected or know someone who has been affected by cancer and so it is important that we get behind charities like Macmillan who can make a real difference to the lives of those battling cancer.
