This March, Bluebird Care Hillingdon is supporting national Deep-Vein Thrombosis Awareness Month, an initiative aiming to raise awareness of this commonly occurring medical condition and its potentially fatal complication pulmonary embolism.

A leading home care provider has been recognised for the high standards and quality of services they provide to people across the London Borough of Hillingdon.Bluebird Care received an inspection from the Care Quality Commission last year reporting on all aspects of the service.

News from the office
Congratulations to three members of our team who received promotions this week. They all work exceptional hard, and we're very proud of their achievements. Laura Williams is promoted from Care Manager to Operations Manager. Kerri Russell steps into the Care Manager role from Care Coordinator. And, Emma Edwards becomes a Care Coordinator - having previously worked as a Field Supervisor. Well done to you all!

Bluebird Care launches Every Visit Counts campaign
Some 1.3 million older people spend the equivalent of two months a year without seeing anyone, according to a poll. A OnePoll survey of 1,000 over 65-year-olds, found 11% said they spent five days or more a month without seeing anyone. In London, 16% of respondents said they had spent more than a week alone.
