The Bluebird Care team specialise in working with customers and their families who require care in their own homes.

Here at Bluebird Care Vale of Glamorgan, our whole team receive the highest quality mandatory training, with ongoing refresher training to ensure we are always a top quality provider. This is the key to our success!

We know that giving our staff the best tools to do their job gives them the best knowledge to ensure that every individual they care for has the best outcome.

Also, our management team are here to offer the best pastoral support for our care team to ensure that we keep up with our outstanding reputation. 

Kim Matthews

Cardiff and Vale Coordinator

Kim has worked in care since 2017 and enjoys every minute of it. Kim believes that working within a care sector you gain a lot of experience in all different aspects. Before this Kim worked within a childcare setting.

Kim loves working within the care sector as she loves knowing she is making a difference to someone's quality of life and supporting them to remain living in their own home.

Kim doesnt get a lot of spare time she is  a mum of 3. Its a very busy life working full time with having 3 children and a husband. 

When she does have some spare time, she enjoys having her nails done or going shopping. 

Melanie Collis

Cardiff Coordinator

Mel has worked in the care industry for 17 years, starting off as a care assistant, she completed her NVQ level 2 just a couple of years after starting in care. With the company changing hands a few times, she stayed for 10years and then wanted a change, so she applied for complex care and absolutely loved it. She has worked with some lovely clients.

Mel loves spending time with her friends and family.

Samantha Grace-Griffiths

Recruitment Officer

Samantha joined Bluebird Care in June 2024 as our Recruitment Officer. With a background in Engineering Recruitment, she worked on various platforms for 13 years in the Ministry of Defence. After caring for her own Mum and Dad, she realised it was time for change as she wanted to be able to give back. Samantha understands that carers have such an important role for our customers, and she is proud to say that she now recruits amazing carers for people who need them.

In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family, bake and take her little dog Yoshi for long walks.

Clara Martins

Administration Officer

Clara is originally from Lisbon, in Portugal. Has permanently moved to Cardiff in 2019 after successfully completing her Secondary School, where has achieved an equivalency to an NVQ Level 4. 

She is a multilingual professional and has been working in the Education field for the past 5 years as Marketing and Administrator. 

Clara joined Bluebird Care in March 2024 as the Office Administrator with the intention of changing carers while learning and developing the necessary skills for performing in the Care field.
