Fundraising

In 2021, Bluebird Care Wakefield and Kirklees participated in multiple fundraising events in aid of Kirkwood Hospice and The Prince of Wales Hospice.

We participated in ‘Bring a Bag to Work Day’ – a fundraising activity that involves bringing bags of items into your place of work. These bags can include clothes, toys, and other pre-loved items. By participating, we have raised vital funds to help support the hospice.

In November, we also hosted a Christmas charity event in Flockton. We had a bake sale, prize bingo, and a raffle. We offered hot drinks and a warm seat for everyone who came. In total, we raised over £80 during this event and had so much fun whilst doing it.

We are delighted to have been able to contribute towards Kirkwood Hospice and POW, two charities that are very close to our hearts as a homecare company. We would like to thank everyone who donated, and we hope to see some familiar faces at our future events.
