We are especially proud to highlight the extraordinary contributions of three outstanding ladies: Donna, Kim, and Janet. Their efforts have been truly exceptional, standing out in every way. We were delighted to be part of the 40 regional finalists for the South West and Wales region at the event in Bath last week.

Coinciding with the Let's Connect event, we enjoyed a lovely lunch and ceremony recognising these individuals for going the extra mile beyond their job descriptions and adding immense value to our business. As directors, we are immensely proud to share in their celebrations.

We're thrilled to share that Donna, our outstanding Registered Care Manager, attended the finalist ceremony for the Registered Care Manager Award at the Bluebird Care Regional Awards last week! 🎉

In her 5 years with us, Donna has made a significant impact, managing a team of 15 staff members and 40 carers. Her exceptional leadership has been instrumental in achieving the gold standard framework accreditation for end-of-life care and the Bluebird Care gold compliance mark. Donna’s ability to balance the administrative and operational sides of home care, manage unexpected challenges, and oversee complex care requirements is remarkable. Her dedication has led to a 50% business growth in the past year!

We're delighted to share that Kim Eyers, our dedicated live-in care manager, was a finalist for the Quality Award at the Bluebird Care Awards! 🎉

Over her 6 years with Bluebird Care, Kim has risen from care professional to live-in care manager, always embracing each role with enthusiasm and achieving high standards. She’s initiated a rigorous training and selection programme, building a small, high-quality team of carers. Kim's leadership and commitment have led to an increase from 4 to 20 live-in care customers in just 18 months! She’s a true expert, consistently delivering top-notch care and ensuring every customer's needs are met.

Join us in congratulating Kim for her remarkable achievements and dedication to excellence! We know she is an inspiration to all those who have the privilege of working with her. 

Janet Karodza, care expert, attended the ceremony in Bath last week as a finalist in the Team Player of the Year category at the Bluebird Care 2024 Regional Awards! Joining us from Zimbabwe 18 months ago, Janet was our first carer on the sponsorship programme. She has seamlessly assisted with live-in and domiciliary care, always willing to help and do extra hours at short notice. Her flexibility and eagerness to learn are a true inspiration to us all. Janet understands the challenges of relocating and has become our sponsorship staff mentor, supporting new carers from overseas. She helps them settle into life in the UK, often welcoming them into her home. Her high standards of care, warm personality, and sense of humour are cherished by both our customers and staff.

Her commitment to customer care and her peers made Janet such a deserving nominee and finalist for the Team Player of the Year Award. Please join us in celebrating Janet. Thank you, Janet – we appreciate all you do.
