Andy Toon

With over 20 years of experience in the care sector, Andy is a highly skilled Registered Care Manager who has dedicated their career to improving the lives of vulnerable individuals. Starting his career in the health sector as a social worker in Children’s services, Andy transitioned into adult social care, and played a pivotal role in launching Bluebird Care Worcester & Wychavon alongside the owner in 2014.

Holding an honours degree in Business Studies from Derby University, along with other various care qualifications including level 7 diploma in health care which is both Ofsted & CQC approved, Andy brings both management expertise and in-depth industry knowledge to the role.

Andy has a diverse background, having run an older adult’s day centre, various nursing homes, and managed other large domiciliary care organisations.

During his time at Bluebird Andy has had a number of recognitions including the Bluebird Care West Midlands Registered Manager of the year 2015, being a finalist in 2024, and a nomination at the Great British Care Awards in 2024.
