About Bluebird Care Dunbartonshire

Bluebird Care was founded in 2004 to help keep people in the comfort of their own homes. It began when Paul & Lisa Tarsey, inspired by the need for more flexible, personal care options, decided to move away from residential care services and create a home care model that truly put the customer at the centre. Now there are over 220 offices across the UK and Ireland, making us one of the largest home care providers.

Our Director, Tricia Hughes has over 30 years of experience working with some of Scotland's most marginalised and vulnerable citizens. She began as a Social Worker and then taught Health and Social Care within the Further Education System before opening Bluebird Care Dunbartonshire. She is passionate about being able to make a positive impact on people's lives and wants to ensure that those in Dunbartonshire can receive the highest quality of care, where their human rights are safeguarded and protected without compromise.

Today, Bluebird Care is a trusted name in home care, providing vital services that allow people to live safely, happily, and independently in the place they love most—their own homes.

Getting started

Starting your care journey

Starting home care can feel daunting, but we are here to make the process as smooth as possible to make you feel at ease.

Get in touch and assessment

Reach out to our friendly team. We always aim to book an assessment, where we can come and visit you and your loved one in their own home to discuss the care they need.

Introducing your care team

Once the care plan has been agreed by everyone we can then introduce you and your loved one to the care team where you can begin to build relationships.

Care planning

After the assessment visit we'll craft your bespoke care plan, taking into consideration all the practical support your loved one needs along with all those fun extra elements supporting them to life their life to the full!

Regular reviews

We know that what you may need on day 1 doesn't always stay the same, so we have regular reviews to see what more (or less) support is needed for your loved one. We can provide care from 30 minute visits to Live-in Care, so no matter your needs we have you covered.

We help to keep you comfortable and independent at home by providing visits from 30 minutes to live-in care to suit your needs. As your needs change, so does your package. But what is important is we put you first, ensuring each care plan reflects our customer's qualities. It isn't just about the care you require but about you as a person. We sit and listen to how you like your cup of tea, where you like to be sat in the morning, what you love to watch on the telly at 2 pm on a Tuesday, and the list goes on. We see you as an individual and we're here to help support you maintain your life at home.
