Claire Evans - Owner/Director
Welcome to my beautiful company of care professionals! I founded Bluebird Care Lancaster and South Lakeland in 2014. I am dedicated to providing high-quality, tailored services to our customers. I lead a skilled team, invest in staff development, and ensure reliable, innovative care through strong quality systems — all while striving to make a meaningful impact in my local community. I love it! When I’m not working, I enjoy as much fresh air as I can get - walking, running, horseriding, gardening. Now that our 4 children are grown, I am rediscovering some freedom!

Alyson Hartlebury - Care and Operations Manager
Alyson is responsible to the national regulator, Care Quality Commission,to ensure the safety and effectiveness of our service. After working in other sectors, Alyson found her true passion in care and is highly respected by our customers and staff alike for the quality of her leadership. Her focus is always on the person receiving care at the centre of everything we do. She is especially good at working holistically with other professionals in our community to ensure the full range of a person's needs are met. Alyson's job is extremely demanding, but outside of work she loves spending time with her partner and three children.

Jana Cayeux - Live-In Care Manager
Jana is our Live-in Care Manager, leading the way in delivering exceptional care. She works closely with clients and families to create personalized care plans and supports our carers to ensure the highest standards. Jana joined us in 2020 from South Africa, bringing years of personal caregiving experience. She quickly progressed from carer to Senior Carer, Supervisor, and now Manager. A proud mother of two boys, Jana loves spending time with her family.

Nicola Dryden - Domiciliary Care Manager/Coordinator
Nicola manages our domiciliary care service, ensuring visits are well-coordinated and delivered by the right carers. With extensive experience as a Registered Care Manager and a Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care, she oversees daily operations and ensures top-quality care. A proud mum to Michael, grandmother to Raven and Dexter, and owner of the beautiful Betty (her dog), Nicola is a valued member of our team who brings warmth and dedication to everything she does.

Toni Farrer - Customer Relationship Manager
Toni liaises with our customers and their loved ones to make sure we build the right plan of care around the person, understanding their needs and preferences. Of course, personal circumstances change as time goes on so Toni reviews and updates what we do accordingly. Toni has a long career in care and wouldn’t think of doing anything else.

Ritika Tyagi - Supervisor
Ritika is responsible for supervising and managing our staff. We invest in our people to make sure they are confident and skilled when they visit our customers

Stephanie Anderson - Recruitment & Training Manager
Steph is responsible for recruiting and training our carers. She knows exactly what we’re looking for in terms of personal qualities and each new starter takes part in our two week induction programme before setting off alone.
