Our Community Grant Made A Huge Difference!
Our community grant scheme has enabled the Maidstone branch of the Stroke Association to achieve a threefold increase in the number of stroke survivors it is able to support! The grant £500 grant has been used to provide much-needed new materials for the support groups that the Stroke Association runs, which help stroke survivors to rebuild their confidence.

Taking Margaret Out For Lunch
Every other month, we arrange to take a customer who does not go out very much for a treat and recently Care Assistant Louise took customer Margaret out for lunch at our local garden centre. Louise collected Margaret, who was very much looking forward to the trip and headed down to Millbrooks where they ate their fill and even had a sweet treat for pudding!

Well Done To Inga!
We would like to say a very big well done to Care Supervisor Inga, who has recently completed her management level 3 qualification! The qualification took just under 12 months and consisted of a number of modules that covered every aspect of the role of management.

Launching REME In Maidstone Hospital!
We have recently teamed up with staff at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust (MTW) to help and encourage patients with dementia to use an app which assists with cognitive stimulation and social interaction. The Remind Me Care App is specifically for people with dementia, and is currently used by our live-in carers. It has been very well received and we are delighted to be able to make a difference in our community through it!

Summer Family Funday!
As we strive to thank our incredible care team in every way possible, we are proud to host an annual family funday and this year's was particularly special! We booked an outside space at East Farleigh's local pub 'The Bull Inn' that had a great play area for children and some great food. In addition to this, the weather was smashing!
