I’m a domiciliary care client from North Tyneside. I have only been with the organisation since Monday evening, 18 September 2023, and I'm very impressed with the support workers' arrival time; they remain with the client the allotted time - nothing phases them - the organisation is a breath of fresh air compared with other organisations I have been involved with, I would highly recommend this organization without a second thought.
If I had a relative/family member who needed a domiciliary, I would recommend Bluebird to anybody else; they are excellent. The care provided for my mum has been really good. it has been a huge relief to share the responsibility of caring for my mum with someone else. I really appreciate the flexibility to add extra care when needed.
Through the care of Bluebird Care carers, plus friends and towards the end, help from community nurses, MacMillan carers and Marie Curie nurses, one of my best friends was able to remain in her own home and died peacefully on 3rd April. Bluebird Care provided a skilled and friendly team to look after her personal care, health support and nutrition in the last few weeks of her life. They were able to provide extra hours of support when it was needed later in her care. Prior to that, they had helped her to settle back into her own home after a short period in respite care. All the carers worked in a discrete, professional and friendly manner. Help was at the end of the phone, even out of hours.
