Lynne Churchill

Lynne Churchill - Director & Franchise Owner

Lynne Churchill brings a wealth of experience to her role as Franchise Director for Bluebird Care Cardiff and The Vale. With a background in Sales and Marketing, as well as Employee benefits, Lynne has worked extensively with partner blue chip companies across the UK, implementing successful marketing strategies to enhance their brands. Her 27 years of experience span across various industries including Healthcare, Advertising, and Recruitment, providing her with valuable insights and skills that will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and success of Bluebird Care. As Franchise Director, Lynne is poised to lead the business to the next level, leveraging her expertise in sales, marketing, and brand development. With her strategic vision and proven track record, she is well-positioned to drive innovation and implement initiatives that will enhance the company's presence in the market. Outside of her professional endeavors, Lynne enjoys staying active with hobbies like cycling and walking, as well as indulging in the pleasure of reading. This well-rounded approach to life is likely to bring a fresh perspective and energy to her role, further enriching her contributions to Bluebird

Chris Churchill

Chris Churchill - Director

Chris is a seasoned and highly qualified engineer with over 35 years of experience in the engineering sector. His extensive career has seen him collaborate internationally with universities, testing laboratories, and factories across various countries, including China, South America, India, and Turkey. With a strong background in Quality Assurance, Chris has developed a deep well of business acumen, coupled with a relentless drive to ensure that quality is consistently delivered to all customers. Twenty years ago, Chris founded his own engineering company, which remains operational and is currently managed by his German counterpart. Although often working behind the scenes, Chris plays a pivotal role in the company, particularly in IT and finance, and works closely with his wife, Lynne Churchill, to ensure the smooth operation and success of the business. His commitment to quality and his leadership has been key to the company's ongoing success.

Karen Razaq

Karen Razaq - Finance Manager

Karen is our Payroll and Accounts Officer. Karen has worked in Accounts for many years and spent most of her career working in care joining us from another Care Provider this year. Although having a Masters Degree in Psychology, Karen is a stickler for dilligence and accuracy. She has recently completed a qualification in Xero

Cerys Morgan

Cerys Morgan - Registered Manager

Cerys has worked in Care for 10 years, starting off as a Care Assistant and working her way up to Care Coordinator and Registered Manager. Cerys has managed multiple Bluebird Care Franchise’s. Cerys is Qualified Level 5 Health and is also a Mental Health First Aid. In her spare time, Cerys enjoys walking, visiting new places and spending time with her niece and nephews.

Emma avis

Emma Avis - Deputy Manager

Emma joined Bluebird Care in February 2015 having previously worked in supported living for people with Learning Disabilities. Emma initially started with us as a care worker and within six months was promoted to Care Supervisor. Emma is always on hand to provide advice and support to the supervisors in both Cardiff and The Vale of Glamorgan. Emma manages her own team of care workers to ensure that we continue to provide a quality service. Emma is the first point of contact with both new and existing customers in the Vale of Glamorgan. In her spare time Emma enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.

Meet the Coordinators & Supervisors

Kim Matthews

Kim Matthews - Cardiff and The Vale Coordinator

Kim has worked in care since 2017 and enjoys every minute of it. Kim believes that working within a care sector you gain a lot of experience in all different aspects. Before this Kim worked within a childcare setting. Kim loves working within the care sector as she loves knowing she is making a difference to someone's quality of life and supporting them to remain living in their own home. Kim doesnt get a lot of spare time she is a mum of 3. Its a very busy life working full time with having 3 children and a husband. When she does have some spare time, she enjoys having her nails done or going shopping.

Nicola Mills

Nicola Mills - Hub Coordinator & Live-In Care Mentor

Nicola started with Bluebird Care in 2015 as a Care Assistant, and upon the opening of our "Forget Me Not Hub" in 2021, began working as our Hub Activities Coordinator. With the growth of our Live-in Care Service, Nicola has taken on the role of Live-in Care Mentor.

Joanne Couch

Joanne Couch - Supervisor

Joanne worked in Care for 4 years prior to joining Bluebird Care, mainly with Dementia and Alzheimer’s. Joanne started with Bluebird Care in April 2019 as a Care Supervisor for the Vale of Glamorgan. Jo is responsible for supporting Customers and Care Assistants in the Vale by carrying out regular supervisions, spot checks, quality reviews and ensuring that our quality is always a priority.

Shelley Edwards

Shelley Edwards - Supervisor

Shelley has a wealth of experience and has been working in residential care settings for the past 20 years. Shelley joined us here at Bluebird Care as a Supervisor in April 2024. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and attending festivals & gigs as Shelley loves music!

Sinead Grant

Sinead Grant - Supervisor

Sinead has been working in care for 6 years, and while working at Bluebird Care has worked her way through the ranks from carer, senior and is now one of our amazing care supervisors! In Sineads spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Amy-Jo Spear

Amy-Jo Spear - Supervisors

Amy has been working in care for the past 12 years and joined us here at Bluebird Care in June 2024. During her time working in care, she has worked in many different care areas including working with children, the elderly and working in mental health. In her spare time, Amy enjoys looking after her zoo of animals and spending time with her family. She is also a chatterbox!

Chloe hutton

Chloe Hutton - Supervisor

Chloe has been working in care for the past 5 years and joined Bluebird Care in 2023. Chloe completed 2 years of a nursing degree, however after working in care decided that working in the care community sector was a better fit for her. Chloe’s family all live in West Wales, so Chloe spends her weekends visiting them as she has 7 siblings and 13 nieces & nephews, meaning she is always busy. But, as Chloe lives away from her family, she spends her time after work with her friends.

Natasha Euston-Cook

Natasha Euston-Cook - Digital Marketing Manager

From the Rhondda Valleys, Natasha has over 7 years of experience in Digital Marketing and has an Advertising Degree from the University of South Wales. Over the years, she has worked for a wide range of sectors such as the public sector, the retail sector, and many more. Her most recent role was working for a small business-to-business marketing agency. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing her Nintendo Switch, watching gymnastics & Formula One and attending rock concerts.

Samantha Grace-Griffiths

Samantha Grace-Griffiths - Recruitment Officer

Samantha joined Bluebird Care in June 2024 as our Recruitment Officer. With a background in Engineering Recruitment, she worked on various platforms for 13 years in the Ministry of Defence. After caring for her own Mum and Dad, she realised it was time for change as she wanted to be able to give back. Samantha understands that carers have such an important role for our customers, and she is proud to say that she now recruits amazing carers for people who need them. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family, bake and take her little dog Yoshi for long walks.

Clara Martins

Clara Martins - Office Administrator

Clara is originally from Lisbon, in Portugal. Has permanently moved to Cardiff in 2019 after successfully completing her Secondary School, where has achieved an equivalency to an NVQ Level 4. She is a multilingual professional and has been working in the Education field for the past 5 years as Marketing and Administrator. Clara joined Bluebird Care in March 2024 as the Office Administrator with the intention of changing careers while learning and developing the necessary skills for performing in the Care field.
