The fundraising lunch was a fantastic afternoon of networking, delicious food and drinks and amazing guest speakers Ryan Clemson from Uniek, and Lara Rebecca from the Happy Collective.
It was an insightful afternoon hearing from inspirational business leaders, and it was also amazing to speak to many different businesses in the local area.
In total, the event raised £3,500, and we are so proud here at Cardiff and The Vale to support other local charities in the area, with Age Connects being one of them. Thank you, Age Connects for a great afternoon.

It was a pleasure to meet and connect with like-minded individuals who are not only eager to network but are also deeply committed to supporting a vital local charity. Age Connect works to combat loneliness among 6,000 people in Cardiff through day centres, coffee mornings, and craft groups. I was personally inspired by meeting Ryan, who raised an incredible £9,000 for Age Connect by running 100 miles. The sense of gratitude and inspiration at events like these is truly uplifting. It was also great to meet other local businesses and exchange ideas on how we can collaborate to build a supportive community with shared values and passion.
