Local resident Kellie Woodcraft was recently named Registered Manager of the Year at the Leaders in Care Awards 2024 for her work as Registered Manager of Bluebird Care Redbridge, Epping and Harlow and Bluebird Care Southend and Rochford.
This award recognises the manager who has gone above and beyond in ensuring exceptional care and quality at their service.
Kellie was nominated by her Bluebird Care colleagues her deep commitment to best practices and the delivery of outstanding care. Kellie’s award win recognises her dedicated, hands-on approach to leadership, allowing her to support her team impeccably and understand all the individual needs of the people Bluebird Care Redbridge, Epping and Harlow support.
Kellie began her Bluebird Care journey in 2017 as a Care Co-ordinator and has been progressing with her care career ever since. Her hard-work and positive impact led to her being promoted to Registered Manager of Bluebird Care Southend and Rochford in October 2020, and later also took on the same role at Bluebird Care Redbridge, Epping and Harlow last year.
Recently, Kellie led the Bluebird Care Redbridge, Epping and Harlow team to achieve a 99% score in their compliance audit, recognising the high standard of safe, quality care delivered at the service. Now, both services managed by Kelly have been awarded The Gold Compliance award, reflecting the impact of her leadership on the enhancement of care.
As well as her Registered Manager role, Kellie also acts as The Dignity and Care Champion, End of Life Champion, Safeguarding Lead, Medication Lead, and Menopause Lead to name just a few.
